Auswide Bank is seeking a skilled Lending Specialist to join its Brisbane-based Loan Origination Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service between the Bank and its Loan Brokers.
Key Responsibilities:- Support broker-referred mortgage applications through the end-to-end lending process, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
- Assess and verify supporting financial documentation, including income, employment verification, credit checks, and order valuations.
- Assist with inquiries from Brokers and BRMs regarding application and credit structuring.
- Manage your own workflow of files moving through the Loan Origination Service process, monitoring processes and internal/external stakeholder workflow of loan applications.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. While experience in consumer lending is advantageous, it is not essential. We will provide training and support to ensure your success in this role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and be highly motivated.
- Experience in processing home loan applications or completed study in a related field is desirable.
- Ability to gain knowledge of the Bank's Credit Policy procedures and policy for Consumer Mortgage Lending.
- A desire to grow and develop within Auswide Bank.
