Your role


The HR Project Coordinator is a newly created position within the Corporate Services division, supporting the Corrective Services HR Business Partnering Team.

The primary purpose of the role is to perform project management and administrative activities that support and contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

You lead a team, overseeing the provision of administrative and support services to facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards

What you'll do
As a HR Project Coordinator you will report directly to the Director - HR Business Partnering (Corrective Services) where you will:

  • Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of administrative and support services by the administrative service staff to ensure the business needs of the team/unit are met
  • Monitor and address complex and/or sensitive enquiries and issues, including those that are escalated, to ensure the timely and effective resolutions of issues
  • Develop, implement, review, and update administrative systems, processes and policies to ensure compliance with agency standards, policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate the collection and collation of information, prepare reports on business unit performance, and make recommendations to improve efficiency, cost management and service delivery
  • Maintain a strong sense of professionalism and personal development with an emphasis on quality and client orientated service and delivery of results to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and review high level communication including submissions, briefing notes and correspondence, to respond to issues and enquiries
You'll be working in a highly communicative environment that expects collaboration and teamwork, while also working autonomously on tasks.

  • Someone who can work autonomously, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Someone who can prepare reports, analysis, briefings, and other forms of written advice in final form with mínimal input required from the executive.
