Our Wollongong office presents an exciting opportunity for a proactive, dedicated, and skilled individual to join as the Administrator. Leveraging your expertise in administration and project coordination, you will support our Wollongong Consultants and the broader team in delivering seamless administrative and project assistance.
This role offers flexibility, open to both part-time (minimum 3 days) and full-time positions based at the Innovation Campus in North Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactive management of daily office operations, including mail handling, deliveries, office supply orders, room reservations, liaising with building services, and general upkeep
  • Coordination of office events and activities, such as client meetings, industry gatherings sponsored by SLR, and office social programs
  • Supporting in logging and tracking office vehicle usage and expenses
  • Participation in office health and safety oversight, managing first aid procedures, visitor registrations, safety inspections, maintenance of safety equipment (e.g. fire extinguishers), office vehicle upkeep, and reporting in the QSR system
  • Aiding project managers in crafting proposals and bids, encompassing compilation, review, formatting, and document submission
  • Assistance in deliverables, involving MS Word formatting, information compilation, scanning, and binding
  • Arranging travel and accommodations for staff, and supporting staff with expense claims
  • General assistance to the Office Manager, other managers, and technical support personnel as needed

Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating proficiency in these areas. Prior experience in consulting/professional services or an interest in an environmental solutions company is beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Positive demeanor with a proactive work approach and the ability to act independently
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and project coordination
  • Presenting oneself professionally and adapting to a corporate setting
