About You


The manager is responsible for leading a team and promoting an environment of cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders to develop a strategy and service model for the continuous improvement of conversion tactics and prospective student experience.


The position will ensure conversion activities are effectively and efficiently planned, implemented and reported by providing crucial metrics which will feed into future resources and marketing plans.

In addition, this position is expected to identify, conceptualise and ensure the delivery of new opportunities where RMIT's sales and service delivery can be optimised to increase student experience and maximise student enrolments.

To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the customer journey mapping, and proven expertise in managing complex projects and ability to recommend and implement varying levels of process improvement across a range of functions.
  • Extensive experience in Marketing and Communications, as well at project management.
  • Demonstrated high level planning and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work activities to meet competing deadlines and to achieve positive work outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with prospective students, staff, senior management at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with experience in recognising, recommending and implementing change to positively impact the customer experience.
  • Proven ability to conceptualise and map key prospect touch points which drive engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of internal stakeholders (including senior management groups) each with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and digital literacy skills with demonstrated experience in the analysis of conversion data and preparation of reports.
  • Experience in using CRM systems (experience within Salesforce preferred) to execute operational activities within a conversion team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle various and multiple functions and systems simultaneously in a high pressure and complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive high performance through mentoring and coaching others.
