Senior Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at GB Global. As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and processing claims for injured workers, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of medical expenses and facilitating a smooth return to work process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process claims for injured workers, including reviewing and approving requests for medical treatment and ensuring accurate documentation is received for weekly wage payments.
- Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy of information.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, treating healthcare providers, and occupational rehabilitation services to support a sustainable return to work and life for injured workers.
- Participate in case conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based role, preferably in fields related to employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health and safety.
- Tertiary study in a relevant field, such as allied health, psychology, or social work.
- Strong telephone-based conversational and communication skills, as well as administrative skills and ability to learn and use systems and databases.
- Resilience, exceptional time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-player attitude.
