ABOUT THE ROLE


The Research Officer role will research, compile, and analyse information on customers, competitors, and market conditions to assist in the User Experience team's Work Winning opportunities.

A commitment to quality processes and outcomes is a key attribute to this position, as is demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills to support the implementation of organisational policies, procedures, and programs.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • collecting data on customers, competitors and markets, and consolidating information into summaries, reports and presentations
- understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customer preferences
- reporting findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex information
- performing valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
- providing competitor analysis on various companies' market offerings, identifying market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
- preparing customer and stakeholder mapping for projects and maintaining up to date records.

  • strong research, analytical, problem solving and administration skills
- sound verbal and written communication skills
- excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- an ability to translate clear analysis on a research topic
- the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships within internal and external stakeholders
- sound IT skills (Microsoft Suite).

REQUIREMENTS

Please note that for this role you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
- have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, Autistic Disorder or PDD-NOS
- have the ability to gain security clearance through relevant checks (this will be conducted through the employer).
