ResMed offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Graduate/Associate User Researcher to join the Global UX team at our Bella Vista campus in Sydney and contribute to the future ResMed solutions.

About the Team:

Driven by empathy, ResMed's Global UX team collaborates closely with product management, engineering, and stakeholders to develop solutions that make a positive impact on patients and providers. Our work encompasses physical, digital, and service-based experiences worldwide.

The UX Research team plays a key role in shaping strategy, design, and development through human-centered insights and efficient systems, enabling practitioners to excel in their work.

Together, we aim to revolutionize healthcare, enhance patient well-being, and innovate healthcare solutions for the future.

About the Role:

As an Associate User Researcher, you will collaborate with senior researchers and product teams, assisting in qualitative and quantitative research by preparing materials, analyzing data, notetaking, and more. You will be involved in supporting various studies to assess concepts, designs, and products as well as surveys.

This role offers the opportunity to enhance your research skills by working with a diverse and experienced team in the realm of connected solutions and medical technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting research planning activities such as maintaining the research calendar, collaborating with product teams, preparing research materials, and coordinating participant schedules.
  • Assisting in conducting research including testing concepts, prototypes, and products, and participating in analysis and observation.
  • Contributing to insight synthesis and reporting by creating user journey maps, personas, and documentation for medical device clearance.
  • Supporting research operations initiatives related to participant management, governance, insights management, and more.

About You:

You are compassionate and motivated to assist others. You have a keen interest in listening to people's stories and analyzing data patterns to enhance product experiences for our users.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human Computer-Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting UX research studies using various techniques.
  • Familiarity with online testing tools.
  • Proficiency in working in an agile, collaborative environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in the healthcare field, patient engagement, and FDA requirements is beneficial.
  • International research experience is a plus.
