One of our Federal Government clients is looking for a User Experience Designer to improve the functionality and usability of their digital platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for creating engaging user experiences that are user-friendly and valuable. This role requires a commitment to enhancing user experiences and the flexibility to adjust design approaches when needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with user researchers and Product Managers to understand user needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to align design solutions with strategic goals and business requirements.
  • Brainstorm and prototype solutions with other designers, incorporating stakeholder feedback for integration into development.
  • Ensure designs prioritize accessibility and adhere to user-centered design principles.
  • Coordinate with developers to understand technical limitations and provide detailed interaction specifications.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the user experience for consistency across the platform.
  • Manage internal design systems to ensure platform consistency.

Ideal Requirement:

  1. User-Centered Design Proficiency: Ability to create intuitive user experiences following Accessibility Guidelines.
  2. Collaborative Teamwork: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design solutions with business goals.
  3. Technical and Adaptive Design Skills: Proficiency in design tools and the flexibility to produce designs tailored to project needs.

Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts.
  2. Experience with Agile Methodologies.
