  • Location: Chermside, QLD
  • Duration: Up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements
  • Rate: $55 per hour

About the Role


As an Internal Review Officer, you will join the Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch, which serves as the central point of coordination for the agency's handling and resolution of reviews and complaints.

You will work directly with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies to manage and resolve reviews and complaints in a timely manner.

The Internal Review Team (IRT) aims to deliver a streamlined approach to internal reviews, ensuring timely, consistent, and clearly explained decisions for participants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with participants to gather information related to review requests, ensuring a thorough understanding of the nature and context of the requests.
  • Inform participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process, providing clear and concise explanations.
  • Utilize evidencebased decisionmaking methodologies to reach informed conclusions.
  • Monitor and manage caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within designated timeframes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement activities aimed at enhancing service delivery practices, processes, and systems.

Key Skills Required
- **Australian Citizenship** is mandatory for this role.

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
