Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Review and Assurance Specialist to join our new Business Review and Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for steering the development of our business review and audit program across all BMD operations. You will execute the business review program, work closely with all levels of the organization to develop value-adding outcomes, and contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of BMD operations locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business review and audit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide insights and advice to business stakeholders on the management of risk.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the development of efficient systems design, development, and implementation.
- Provide expert advice on internal controls and risk management to ensure the integrity of our operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, law, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in assurance, audit, or consulting roles.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills and ability to travel as required.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing business review, continuous improvement, or assurance programs is highly desirable.
