Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Endeavour Foundation Full time

Relationship Specialist - Disability

Exciting Full Time Opportunity in Cannon Hill with leading disability provider Endeavour Foundation. Make a difference in the lives of people with disability. Help people looking for disability support to imagine what is possible and achieve their goals by connecting them to the right services. Assist people to understand the NDIS, their funding and how shared supports work. Be part of a values driven team that is passionate about supporting people to live, learn, work and flourish.

At Endeavour our purpose is straight forward, to turn possibilities into reality. We have been helping people with disabilities to achieve this for more than 70 years.

We are looking for someone to join our Growth Team and be the first contact for people enquiring about Home and Community support. If you have experience in the disability or the community sector and are great at active listening, thinking creatively, fostering relationships and building good rapport through exceptional customer service, then we want to hear from you.

About the role

This integral position builds community awareness and creates pathways for people with disabilities to access Endeavour Foundation services. As a Relationship Specialist you will work within a small team to manage and nurture relationships with clients, their families and external referrals, ensuring that we create positive experiences and transition people into Endeavour services in a safe and timely way.

No conversation is the same. As the subject matter expert on Endeavour services across Qld, NSW and Victoria, you will help to identify opportunities, support people through steps to attain appropriate funding and nurture and assist their decision making.

In this varied role, you will:

Be a subject matter expert who can confidently talk to individual support needs, choice and control, funding and disability services. Through a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS and disability sector, match clients to life changing services that support their goals and aspirations, and maximise the use of Individual NDIS funding. Support a culture of person-centred practice which puts clients, families, carers and guardians at the forefront of everything we do. Nurture enquiries, and identify opportunities to deliver new services to people on our wait list with common interests and support needs. Build key relationships and enhance Endeavours reputation with referrer stakeholders including Support Coordinators, other disability providers and health teams. Foster collaboration with regional site leaders, supporting a co-creation and co-delivery approach to onboarding clients and delivering services. Manage relationships with various internal stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding is prioritised. Collect appropriate documentation and ensure that this is accessible for local support teams. Provide a customer experience in line with Endeavour Foundation's values and behaviours, managing day to day relationships with clients, their families and external referral organisations.
