About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Account Growth Specialist who will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the Queensland region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to win and grow revenue within a new and existing customer base.
- Develop and implement strategies to win and grow revenue within a new and existing customer base.
- Build and maintain regular relationships with clients and vendor partners through face-to-face meetings, virtual chats, and regular email updates.
- Identify new areas of opportunity for partners and assist in creating new offerings to market.
- Develop, build, and convert a solid pipeline for short, medium, and long-term sustainable profitable growth.
- Manage and report territory forecast and pipeline management.
- Conduct partner business reviews.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Represent the company to the partner and your partners to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
- Sell the Ingram Micro value and offerings to existing and new partner base.
- Create and nurture strategic relationships with both customers and aligned vendors.
- Build and maintain optimal engagement and close plans to maximize profitability.
- Develop value-add sales engagements to take advantage of cross and upsell opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Proven success in sales within the technology industry.
- Experience working within the IT channel and existing partner relationships for the local market.
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic account planning with experience in both development and execution of those plans.
- Ability to leverage stakeholder management across both internal and external resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, digital, social, and presentation skills.
- Ability to attract and recruit new partners in the region, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- Proven experience delivering solutions focused on business outcomes.
- Ability to plan ahead and forecast accurately.
- Hunger and drive to be part of a high-performance sales culture.
- Ability to work independently and within the larger team.
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with channel partners.
- Ability to support back-end activities such as order processing, quotation generation, delivery follow-up, etc.
