The Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to manage Bega Group's Third Party on high-profile contracts and form, maintain, and strengthen Bega's relationships with key external parties in the market, including Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Fonterra, and more.

Join our innovative team as a Financial Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in driving our business forward. You'll support the Sales team with third-party contract pricing updates and customer cost reconciliations while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial submissions. We're looking for someone with exceptional economic and analytical skills who can manage their workload effectively and collaborate with stakeholders to uncover commercial opportunities and solve complex challenges.

This role operates on a hybrid model, three days from our Docklands office and two days from home, to support your work-life balance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepares price, promotional and trade spend analysis for use in developing business strategies and tactics.
  • Conduct economic, financial, and statistical research to support business strategies and sales team efforts, including 3rd Party Customer Tenders and contract renewals.
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis for business cases, budgets, forecasts, and growth initiatives, including product cost estimates.
  • Analyse sales, financial, and market data to develop pricing and promotional program recommendations.
  • Govern established pricing, promotional, and trade spend processes, offering ad hoc commercial support to non-financial stakeholders.
About you:
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, undertaking or CA/CPA qualified.
  • Previous experience in senior accounting experience incorporating analysis and problem-solving principles within a medium to larger organisation.
  • Sound understanding of Financial & Management accounting reporting.
  • Experience within manufacturing operations, preferably in the Agriculture or Food sector.
  • High Analytical skills and strong Excel modelling and data manipulation skills.
