Aged Services undertakes planning, policy, advocacy, partnership and service delivery roles in providing quality home and community support services for older people, people with a disability and their supports and in the development of strategic plans for our older community.

The role:

The role of the Delivered Meals and Property Maintenance Administration Officer is to liaise with consumers, drivers and stock controller to ensure accurate delivery of meals, cancellations or resumption of service and phone support for clients not answering the door or client incidents.

The key responsibilities include the following:

Intake of CHSP meal referrals from My Aged Care, direct referrals from Allied Health and referrals from the HACC PYP assessor:

Onboarding of new consumers in a timely manner:

-
Liaising with Home Care Package Providers:

-
Distribution of menus and update of consumer permanent choices:

-
Communication of changes to service - public holidays, office closure, increase of service charges:

-
Ordering of modified meals as required:

-
Payroll processing for staff:

-
Facilitating ongoing service for vulnerable consumers who need monitoring and dietary support to remain living at home.

The work schedule required is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm. There

Skills, experience and certificates:

Experience in providing effective customer service within a busy environment

Computer skills including Microsoft 365 Suite, Xpedite and understanding of procedures for the maintenance of effective information systems:

Experience and/or knowledge of the My Aged Care Portal in managing referrals for Property Maintenance & Delivered Meals services:

Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

Ability to use initiative in problem solving:

Experience and/or knowledge of working with consumers eligible for CHSP and HACC PYP services:

CPR & First Aid Certificate
