We are looking for a Senior Project Officer to join the Office of Circular Economy.

Working within the Programs team, the position will support the development, design and delivery of grant programs and partnerships to support the delivery of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy and associated Action Plans and support the transition of Queensland to a Circular Economy.

The Office of Circular Economy leads Queensland in achieving the waste and resource recovery targets in the Queensland Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy, and in transitioning from a linear to a circular economy.

Working within the Programs team you will bring your skills and experience to contribute to:
  • the development and delivery of waste avoidance, resource recovery and circular economy initiatives and programs
  • lead and conduct research and analysis as well as prepare reports and develop recommendations to support current and future project delivery
  • engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders to support program design and delivery.
