About the role:

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join the team in Caloundra.

This hands-on role requires someone capable of working in a fast-paced, ever changing production environment and enjoys inspiring workers and creating a positive work culture.


Duties:

  • Supervise a team of up to 15 production workers
  • Ensure safety practices are adhered to
  • Training and motivation of the production team
  • Monitor compliance and ensure QA systems are in place
  • Work with the management teams to ensure production runs are achieved
  • Assist in coordinating production scheduling and rostering
  • Undertake production duties to support your colleagues

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum two years experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 10 or more
  • Handson approach to running production and administrative tasks
  • Leadership style that motivates and inspires others
  • Ability to embrace change and make continuous improvements
  • Willing to lead by example and represent the companies values
  • Intermediate computer skills
