ABOUT:

This role is within a large state government program with several varying operations and sites spanning SEQ.

This role will work closely within the operations team providing some secretarial support to management by attending operations meetings and taking minutes/providing agendas.

The role will also include intermediate data reporting and analysis using MS Excel as well as providing other administration and adhoc support to the operations team and wider program.


The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • High knowledge of Microsoft software would be desirable
  • primarily excel.
  • Provide timely and accurate job creation, data entry and manual analysis including completion of internal quality assurance measures and delivery of information and documentation
  • Monitor and edit data for accuracy and maintain electronic and hard copy records, raising data issues where required to ensure data integrity in accordance with department standards
  • Use judgement and problem solving when undertaking allocated tasks and nonroutine requests to meet timeframes, competing priorities and quality requirements
  • Support the team by providing mentoring and training to new or inexperienced staff
  • Acquire and sustain a working knowledge of relevant information systems
  • Participate in user acceptance testing, troubleshooting and provide feedback or other relevant system upgrades to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of job creation and data entry
  • Uphold business efficiency and the positive profile of the Program and DAF through effective communication with members of the public, clients, staff, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Provide high quality customer services by responding to enquiries and accurately recording details on relevant databases
  • Perform administrative support for treatment or surveillance activities, including the generation of appointments/bookings as required
  • Export and review reports and data from relevant systems. Collate and order the exported data to be escalated to management for decisionmaking and/or reporting purposes.
