Watson Young Architects is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Student of Architecture to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

This role is a golden opportunity for students currently pursuing or having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.


About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering assigned project tasks accurately, on time, and within budget.
  • Liaising closely with team members and ensuring effective communication of work progress to Senior Architects and Project Leaders.
  • Building strong relationships within the team and contributing to a positive office culture.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement and sharing learnings from project debriefs.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Knowledge of architectural practice, visual communication, and all project phases.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and openness to feedback.
  • A growth mindset, proactivity, and a selfmotivated attitude.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the capacity for creative problemsolving.

Qualifications:

  • Currently studying or have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
  • Working towards a Master's degree in Architecture (or similar) is highly regarded.
