Key Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Take accountability for and lead a small team who will work in partnership with operational and policy areas to identify and deliver innovative solutions for complex operational issues across Land and Surveying Services.
  • Support, advise and inform the Executive Director and the management team on project progress and direction, identifying blockages and offering solutions to achieve the desired outcomes with mitigated risk.
  • Provide strategic futurefocussed advice to the Executive Director and the management team on significant political, economic and environmental developments that ensure the project resolution is responsive to changes and align with Government priorities.
  • Collaborate within the department, across government agencies and other stakeholders to achieve implementable land administration solutions.
  • Work with all Divisions, to ensure projects are clearly scoped and approved/championed at the highest level, empowering wholeofDepartment commitment to resulting process reengineering, regulatory simplification, and resourcing alignments.
  • Partner with operational and policy specialists to create and deliver advice and orking solutions for emerging issues that require strategic overview or cross service area/crossfunction alignment.
  • Lead a financially sustainable, high performing workforce by implementing a rightsized organisational structure to deliver key outcomes effectively and efficiently within agreed budget allocation.
  • Implement programs to build on the business units' regulatory and administrative capability.
  • Other duties as directed and required.
