- Our Client is currently seeking a motivated caseworker to join their team in providing therapeutic casework to young people and families at risk within the child protection system. The role involves trauma and recovery focused interventions within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
- Role Responsibilities:
- Support families through home visits, assessments, and parenting capacity building
- Assess families' casework needs holistically and support them in achieving their goals
- Facilitate programs aimed at increasing parenting capacity
- Advocate for families and connect them with external support
- Provide planning and structured support for the safety of young people and families
- Candidates should have over 2 years of experience in casework with children & families.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's Qualifications in Social Work, Community Welfare, Social Sciences, or related field
- Over 2 years of casework experience in a child & family program
- Experience in using various intervention strategies from theoretical models
- NSW Driver's License and current working with children's check
