We are seeking a skilled Caseworker to join our team at a specialist AOD Service on the Central Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver person-centred, strength-based support to clients experiencing alcohol and drug addiction.
About the Role- Support clients through comprehensive case management, focusing on AOD issues
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, including CBT, mindfulness, and ACT in individual and group settings
- Build key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage crises effectively and provide specialist expertise in complex case management
- Apply a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to case management
- Collaborate with the team to manage a caseload
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Casework or Counsellor role, specialising in AOD, mental health, or similar
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work or a related field
- Current NSW driver's license and own transport for service access
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Vaccination for COVID-19
This is a full-time contract position working in an AOD 3-month program. If you have experience working with clients with complex mental health, AOD, and trauma, we encourage you to apply.
