As Logistics Coordinator you demonstrate a passion for stock, supply chain, and people's life at home.

You have excellent communication skills and can influence and communicate effectively on all levels. You have strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and support department operations.

You are a true customer advocate who takes pride in the services we offer, anticipating and acting upon customer feedback so they have a safe, seamless, sustainable, affordable and fulfilling shopping experience.

You will have full-time availability, including up to 3 out of 4 weekends and a willingness to work across all areas of goods flow operations.


We are recruiting for the Home Delivery team based in store and require early morning and late-night availability: (6am to 10pm) span of hours.


Responsibilities:

As Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the logistics team to secure efficient and safe goods flow processes, including securing a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
  • Ensuring that every customer has a consistent and excellent shopping experience.
  • Providing feedback on team performance, analysing and implementing effective solutions where needed, optimising commerciality and securing excellence in operations.
  • Contributing to the implementation of the unit business plan and other action plans including the implementation of the global and national sustainability strategies.

Together the Logistics team are behind the scenes that make sure IKEA products are always readily available to the many people.

We use our supply process expertise to balance range and space. Forecasting, ordering and replenishing to provide customers with high availability while minimising costs. The Logistics function always challenges effective and efficient ways of picking up the products for our customers all with the end goal of working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA
