Support this much loved activewear brand as their new Logistics Coordinator
**The Role**:
Reporting to the Global Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating international logistics activities required to distribute products from manufacturers to our client's entities, and their network of global distribution partners.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work with Freight Forwarders to ensure shipping bookings are received from origin and shipments are delivered on time to destination.
- Source and negotiate rates or contracts with logistics providers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collate and process shipping documents
- Provide documentation to customs and upload into internal system as required
- Communicate with warehouse regarding scheduling and product information
- Review, identify and implement initiatives to improve existing global logistics processes and supporting documentation.
- Review and resolve any issues relating to logistics activities in a timely manner and ensuring any potential shipping delays are communicated to key stakeholder in a timely manner
- Monitor completion of production from overseas production partners and subsequent shipments
**Ideally You Will Have**:
- Experience in a similar logistics/freight forwarding role
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and global shipping compliance.
- Experience working with international retailers, apparel and B2B businesses.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- AP21 Experience is desirable
- Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities.
