The aim of the position is to spearhead the organisation's commercial/BD function and its overarching strategy.The right applicant will be a confident commercial leader who can use their natural flair for Sales/BD to support the successful development of a newly established company.
About the positionThe organisation is now looking for an experienced Business Development professional. This person will be a key driver of growth for the organisation.The successful candidate will be excited to help build a new business and immediately impact the growth of the company through sales.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeverage your network and relationships to call on CROs, Pharma and Biotech companies to sell early-phase clinical trial services;Identify key decision makers, cultivate trust, and build long-term partnerships to drive sustained business expansion;Build funnel and close deals through a solutions-focused/consultative approach;Create and drive marketing strategies;Attend conferences, trade shows and other networking events;As the organisation grows, this person will be required to build a team underneath them and lead the entire function.
About the candidateRecent ~10-15+ years of BD experience selling early clinical development services;Someone who is able to perform all aspects of sales, from prospecting to closing.
Recent history of individual contribution is a must;Ability to hit the ground running with a network of local and international CROs, Pharma & Biotech contacts to call on (desirable);Proven People Leadership experience (desirable);Ability to operate in an early-stage company environment, and wear multiple hats as needed.
