The Regulatory OTC Reconciliations Officer is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for the reconciliation of collateral, valuations, primary economic terms & regulatory reporting reconciliations using various systems and applications to satisfactorily identify, report and resolve exceptions.


This includes but is not limited to:

Operationalising reconciliations and training offshore team membersInvestigating root cause and actioning exceptions as per the relevant escalation procedures as required.

Regular UAT testing of new reconciliations & improvements, with strong engagement of stakeholders to ensure any issues are actioned.
Assisting with the regulatory compliance reporting associated with the Dodd-Frank Act and all other Jurisdiction OTC regulatory rules.
Assisting with ensuring periodic internal & external audit.

This role will assist RTM to manage the implementation of ongoing regulatory change/improvements mandated by global regulators whilst working closely with the wider Global Markets Regulatory Risk Management (RRM) team, pre/post trade teams and Technology teams.

The role will support the business to deliver new business initiatives through business process change and regulatory technology changes all whilst aligning to global regulatory rules and timelines.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong experience in business analysis and/or related technical experienceRelevant experience in Markets Operations or Middle office, specifically in reconciliation and trade lifecycle managementRelevant experience in FX, Credit, IRS, commodities or equities requiredExperience in documentation of business processes and converting business requirements into technical requirementsExperience working on regulatory change programs of work – such as Dodd Frank, EMIR, ASIC Reporting is an advantageExperience with data analysis, mapping, transformation and enrichment activitiesExperience in Trade product and data integration systems, including but not limited to Murex and Wall StreetProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially ExcelUnderstanding of the Global Markets environment, products, business workflows/ technologyFamiliarity with OTC Derivatives regulatory reform context in risk mitigation, derivative reporting, clearing an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsAttention to detail is critical/ mandatoryAbility to understand processes and how data travels through / is used within the processAbility to evaluate, organise, analyse and communicate relevant facts and conceptsAbility to work autonomously, take initiative, and work with minimal directionAbility to interact with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work under pressure in response to specific issuesYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
