The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior OTC Trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading desk, you will be responsible for executing and managing trades in the OTC market, working closely with senior traders and the trading team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute OTC trades across a range of cryptocurrencies, ensuring all transactions are executed promptly and accurately.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by handling trade enquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and sending daily updates and pricing information.
  • Monitor and assess market trends, order books, and liquidity, to identify trading opportunities and manage risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with the settlements team to ensure accurate trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Contribute to market research and analysis, preparing daily and weekly trading reports for both internal and client use.
  • Support projects aimed at enhancing OTC trading processes and automation.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a finance firm, bank, trading environment, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with trading platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Keen interest in cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
