We are seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team at the highly regarded Hollywood Private Hospital and deliver optimum patient-centred pharmaceutical care. This position is a full-time 6-month contracted role, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. You will be based onsite at the Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, with onsite paid parking and several great cafes within walking distance

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain some fantastic hospital pharmacy experience, and partner with various clinical teams across a fast-paced private hospital setting. You will work with an expert team of allied health professionals and doctors to leave a positive impact on patient care.

In this role, you'll:
Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation. Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products. Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge. Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients. Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees. Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines. About Us:

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.
Essential:
Registered as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A patient-centred approach to care. Excellent knowledge, judgement and reasoning. Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work and deliver to deadlines. Problem solving and risk assessment abilities and the ability to use initiative. Good attitude towards change and continuous learning. Able to work in a team environment and committed to support the team in delivering the highest level of care and services. Minimum 2 years of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy. Desirable:
Experienced with hospital charts and clinical pharmacy service on hospital wards Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as we will provide full training for the successful candidate.
