Pharmacy Technician

This is a unique opportunity to join Slade Pharmacy, a leading provider of pharmacy services, as a Pharmacy Technician/Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient procurement of medications, medical supplies, and equipment necessary for the pharmacy's operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Delivery of medications to hospital wards
- Supporting the pharmacy team to deliver efficient and high-quality patient care
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Managing the purchase of pharmaceutical products and supplies (Procurement Role)
- Liaising with suppliers and our Icon procurement team to ensure timely delivery and favourable pricing (Procurement Role)
You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting. While prior experience in pharmacy procurement and purchasing is valuable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Requirements- Dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy purchasing role preferred (community or hospital pharmacy).
