Brain Train is a rapidly growing, therapeutic outcomes focused, Allied Health Organisation supporting children and adults with autism and other neurological challenges.

We provide services in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne to over 500 children and adults.

Our foundational program is based on sensorimotor integration and our network of therapies includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Family Support, Early Childhood Intervention, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our clients and their parents, carers and guardians during all contact points with the service.
  • Day to day administrative management of the premises
  • Ensuring compliance with Brain Train's policies, procedures and work practices
  • Supervising and leading a team of allied health professionals to deliver high level therapy services.
  • Supporting and maintaining open, transparent communications between the centre staff, clients, carers, and head office.
  • Modelling constructive working relationships and information exchange across all Brain Train services.
  • Leading and coordinating the induction, onboarding and training of all centre staff.
  • Ensuring all reporting and correspondence is of a high quality and meets the needs of head office and the NDIS.
  • Ensuring all staff comply with NDIS practice guidelines and NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • Monitor, report and enforce workplace health and safety

Requirements:

  • Either university qualifications in Allied Health (disciplines including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Rehabilitation Counselling, Counselling or Early Childhood Education) or in Business but with vocational experience in the health care or disability sector
  • Professional registration with relevant professional body and/or eligibility for membership of relevant professional body where appropriate
  • Experience managing and leading a multidisciplined allied health team
  • Experience in play based therapies desirable
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Flexible work hours including Saturday shifts
