Zoos Victoria operates four landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna Park, Melbourne Zoo, and Werribee Open Range Zoo. The Administration Assistant role will provide support for General Manager Visitor Experience at Healesville Sanctuary.

This administrative role will include duties such as:

  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Visitor Experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely agendas, minutes, and records of meetings, ensuring they are disseminated appropriately.
  • Assists with project research as required
  • Assist with collation of written reports / strategic documents
  • Assist with coordination of special / VIP requests
  • Liaison between General Manager and direct reports
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of events and training as required
  • Assist with collation of information for external stakeholders
  • Assist on procurement, i.e. contracts, new suppliers etc. as required
  • Back-fill reception as required
  • Prepare and maintain department Visual Management Boards

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail. They must excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating great attention to detail and prioritisation skills. Flexible working hours and a positive 'can do' attitude, coupled with a willingness to learn, are essential for success in this role.
