About the Role
Our team at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan have multiple casual opportunities for a
Visitor Services Officers.

In this role you will deliver high-quality customer service to the public, promoting a positive image of the Gardens to assist in return visitation.

The role offers variety and involves event management support, visitor information, retail management and promoting all activities the Gardens has to offer.

You will be part of a small team working on multiple projects at once, with a wide range of stakeholders.


About You

  • Passionate about delivering positive face to face customer service experiences and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Digitally savvy, passionate about ensuring positive experiences and enjoy engaging with visitors and clients.
  • Passionate about retail and ensuring the retail shop and Visitor Centre presents well at all times.

In This Role You Will

  • Provide assistance to clients and visitors, including enquiries in person and on phone
  • Enhance the visitor experience and knowledge of Botanic Gardens products and services
  • Undertake sales of merchandise at the retail shop and ask for donations
  • Manage low scale/impact events on site and assist in the venue set up
  • Provide administrative support to the manager and Venues team
  • Manage retail shop presentation and restocking as required

The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust is responsible for the management and stewardship of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Domain, the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah.
