As a Grid Connections Analyst, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the integration of renewable energy projects into the grid, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

They will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to navigate regulatory requirements, assess grid capacity, and mitigate risks associated with grid connections.

Key Responsibilities Evaluate grid connection options for renewable energy projects, considering technical feasibility and regulatory compliance.
Conduct thorough grid impact assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
Liaise with grid operators and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for grid connections.
Analyse grid capacity and constraints to optimize project design and maximize energy output.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including grid operators, government agencies, and industry associations.
Provide expert advice on grid connection strategies, highlighting risks and proposing mitigation measures.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design grid connection solutions tailored to project requirements.
Monitor grid performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted energy supply.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to grid connections.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Support project development activities by providing input on grid connection requirements and timelines.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline grid connection processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in grid connections, renewable energy development, or related areas.
Strong understanding of electrical grid systems, grid connection processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
