About the role

Internally referred to as a Customer Relationship Officer, your main focus will be providing a seamless banking experience to our customers, addressing all their financial needs from start to finish. This involves handling transactions, understanding customer requirements, and offering appropriate financial solutions tailored to their lifestyle. Your success will hinge on nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers, as well as the broader community. You will actively guide customers towards the best products and services for their needs, especially as we undergo digital transformation and help customers improve their online banking proficiency.

This position is based at Community Bank Rochester. The role is open for either full-time employment or part-time (4 days a week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract until 30/06/2025.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sales outcomes by offering solutions that genuinely address customer needs.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with customers in-person and over the phone.
  • Quick adaptability to new systems and workflows.
  • An in-depth understanding of banking products such as Transaction Accounts, Insurance, Term Deposits, and Credit Cards.
  • Experience in consumer lending and the banking sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
