This is a superb opportunity to join a hugely successful overseas insurance company, starting its launch in the Australian market.


About the role:

  • Having responsibility at the ground level for developing the sales strategy for growth and performance to drive the business and introduce it to the market
  • Setting up plans and targets for the broking/advisor team, setting benchmarks for success
  • Managing the performance of product divisions
  • Recruiting a highperforming team and supporting them in their success
  • Daytoday management of performance
  • Providing reports to board members at executive meetings
  • Ensuring compliance is upheld and reviewed within guidelines and policies
  • Ongoing interaction with the executive team, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and alignment with the group
  • Taking accountability for results, ensuring goals are successfully achieved within timelines

About you:

  • Coming from a leadership role in an SME insurance market, with solid exposure to business development and operations
  • A passion for leading and developing dynamic teams, motivating others through your positive and knowledgeable approach
  • Responsibility for managing the performance of general insurance sales teams, and delivering growth year on year
  • The ability to manage business challenges, analyse information and create a way forward
  • Experienced in managing stakeholder and partner relationships, with strong communication skills
  • The ability to manage different priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Previously developed strategy which has resulted in growth or revenue and profit, within a KPI/goaldriven environment
