About the role

Main tasks:
Generate new business opportunities and work with an existing portfolio of customers in this varied, field-based sales role.

Other tasks:

Demonstrate your technical aptitude to ensure client needs are clearly understood and fulfilled

Manage tender and proposal processes
-
Show your ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
-
Liaise with your team and other business divisions to meet business goals
-
Contribute to the business by generating ideas and opportunities
-
Network and build rapport with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external
-
Travel regularly south to northern New South Wales as part of your assigned territory

  • Prior success in new business sales & account management
  • Experience with MS Office, and ideally ERP, CRM, & quality assurance software

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Extensive sales experience in infrastructure or a related space
  • Knowledge of the construction or steel fabrication industries
  • The ability to read basic, technical drawings
