The role

The role of the Product Manager – Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ONHS)/ENT is to develop and execute strategic product plans for the OHNS (ENT) portfolio. As the lead product marketing contact for the OHNS (ENT) portfolio, you will hold a position of leadership and influence within the business unit. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing products in our surgical portfolio. You will work closely with regulatory/quality, marketing, sales, operations, customer service, finance, and the leadership team to develop and support the achievement of strategic and tactical Business unit goals, ensuring the successful expansion and growth of the OHNS (ENT) portfolio.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management team to formulate comprehensive integrated sales & marketing plans setting out key objectives & strategies to facilitate achievement of agreed profit & market share objectives for the OHNS (ENT)
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain awareness of market trends & threats by analysing statistical & commercial information from government & industry sources to identify market segment opportunities & threats and determine penetration opportunities for product portfolio
  • Organizational Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturers, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assuance (RAQA), Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations (including Customer Service, Contracts & Engineering Services) to drive BU product awareness & customer engagement, promote successful go-to-market strategies, launches, sales training & marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Liaison: Develop and maintain relationships with OHNS (ENT) influencers & stakeholders in order to provide feedback & report on market conditions and competition
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Including product introduction, product training, product recalls, product forecast, end of life, & technical case support
  • Sales Support: Provide clinical/technical support to assist & support the OHNS (ENT) sales team to successfully execute their territory sales plans via product training, customer visits and sales/clinical collateral development
  • Training & Education: Assist Sales team in creating appropriate clinical education programs across their territory to increase adoption of Endotherapeutics products.

About you

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Otolarngology Head & Neck Surgery/ENT/Maxillofacial/Plastics therapeutic area/portfolio/products
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Associate Product Manager/Product Manager in the listed therapeutic area/portfolio/products
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Proven track record & ability to achieve portfolio goals & strategic product objectives.
  • Ability to develop & foster relationships with KOL's in core therapeutic areas.
  • Ability to inspire & motivate sales channel to meet company wide sales budgets & strategic objectives.
  • Ability to inspire/guide/support/mentor a sales team to achieve personal and business unit growth.
  • Able to critically & quantitatively analyse product performance, market conditions and market potential.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint) and CRM Platforms (Salesforce)
  • Potential interstate travel of up to 3-5 days a month and depending on Business Unit needs.
  • Potential for overseas travel as required
