This is a long-term role and we expect the role to grow with the business.

The role is two days per week initially on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30am - 7:30pm

Responsibilities

Teaching 3:30pm-7:30pm

  • Teach Maths or English up to NSW Year 12 Advanced level. Resources provided.

Administration 11:30am-3:30pm

  • Assist tutors in making decisions about student programs/lessons to maximise individual students' results (e.g. Come up with the most effective and efficient threelesson program to prepare for the assessment)
  • Handle calendars and diaries
  • Coordinate tutors' absences and follow up for recordkeeping
  • Update and organise teaching resource files to assist tutors
  • Organise events at the centre to develop YKcommunity
  • Provide ad hoc support around the office as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Teaching experience in NSW high schools

Remuneration
- $80,000 p.a. including superannuation (pro-rata at 2 days per week)

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 18 per week

Salary:
$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Evening shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Spread out in 120sqm office

We use a mix of online and offline teaching to encourage students and instructors to stay at home when they are sick
