About the role
The Satellite Technology Product Manager is important to lead our Satellite business technology strategy and road map. Making key technology investments and decisions that will align to our business and product requirements.


This role will define our front-end platform and engage with IT, Engineering, Sales and Products to deliver streamline sales processes, product life cycle and integration with Customer portals.


This role will also bridge the gap between business and technical teams such as spacecraft engineering to map key product strategy / capability for future spacecraft.

The role will allow the business to understand the full capability of our space infrastructure and determine how to maximise our investment.


  • Ensure deliver product life cycle and maintain for Satellite Products quality of service.
  • Lead Product Manager / IT / Engineering to deliver key Satellite initiatives across the Business.
  • Delivering large scale programs to drive new business and revenue.
  • Review Key Performance Indicators, gap analysis and operating strategy against AOP and develop contingencies where necessary.
  • Contribute Technology Product Development updates to internal forums such as BPR's, Exco's, SLT presentations as and when required.
  • Contribute to the Satellite AOP plan and new technology products roadmaps.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Marketing
  • Extensive Product Management and budgeting experience.
  • Ability to manage associate product COS budgets to produce revenue targets.
  • Superior Market research and market planning experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Self starter, ability to work unsupervised, manage the workload and priorities of the team and make decisions
