What you will be doing:


An exciting opportunity is available to join the team in Nepean Emergency department working in the role of a Tech Assistant.

In this role you will assist medical and nursing staff under the direction of the senior medical officer and nursing team leader in technical procedures and associated tasks.


  • Both full time and part time positions are available.
An eligibility list may be created for future vacancies.

Selection Criteria to be Addressed:

  • Welldeveloped time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with set deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated good communication skills in English and the ability to read and understand essential documentation.
  • Previous experience in health care and/or education in health related field.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ sevenday rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays, able to work reasonable overtime.
