We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Recovery/PACU team as a Registered Nurse - Recovery/PACU Specialist. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Recovery/PACU department.
- Lead a Team of Healthcare Professionals: Supervise and direct a team of Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to deliver patient care.
- Develop and Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives: Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
- Act as a Role Model for Safe Practice: Demonstrate a commitment to safe practice and serve as a role model for other healthcare professionals.

Requirements- 2 Years' Experience in Recovery/PACU Nursing: Possess 2 years' experience in Recovery/PACU nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, or ENT surgery.
- Authority to Work in Australia: Hold authority to work in Australia.
- Working with Children Check: Possess a current Working with Children check.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Equivalent: Hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
- Current Registration with AHPRA: Be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards: Demonstrate compliance with the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care (ACQSHC) national standards.
- Clinical Expertise and Commitment to Quality Care: Possess clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
