We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at a contemporary, boutique adult and pediatric ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery practice.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and interact with patients, both in person and via phone/email, in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to patient queries in a timely and concise manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Communicate with referring doctors and hospitals regarding patient matters, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Process payments from patients and bill through Medicare and Eclipse, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Book appointments based on triage and urgency, utilizing strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Assist with sterilization of equipment, following proper protocols and guidelines.
- Generate consultation letters and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, with a strong background in customer service and communication.
- Experience in the medical industry is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong computer skills and experience with cloud-based software, particularly Clinic to Cloud.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
