About the Role:

The EL 1 Assistant Director Service Guidance and Practice is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes for our Australian Government client. The position requires the ability to resolve issues and risks across a broad range of activities of substantial depth and significant detail. The roles requires providing support to the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team.

The EL 1 Assistant Director Service Guidance and Practice is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support our Australian Government client's business objectives.

The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance their interests across a range of forums.


Duties:

  • Provide strategic advice about pathways and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.
  • Provide support to drive business improvement, including expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Raise awareness of critical issues to senior management through regular management reporting.
  • Provide effective leadership to a small team of staff delivering documentation including letters and knowledge articles.
  • Prioritise completing priorities and providing advice to the executive team about overall team capacity, scope of work and progress against key deliverables.
  • Provide considered advice to multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
