Tasks & responsibilities of the role:

  • Deliver top-quality learning experiences with our materials.
  • Provide actionable and personalised feedback to the student.
  • Manage students appropriately to ensure successful completion of learning objectives.
  • Checkin with students' knowledge and retention of concepts.
  • Share teaching insights and expertise with other members of the team during staff debriefing and training sessions.

Your attributes:

- you achieved Band 6 for English and/or Maths during the HSC (or are likely to achieve band - proof must be provided to get role)
- have excellent verbal communication skills including command of the English language
- have a genuine passion for tutoring

  • Caring helping students of all levels reach their goals and build confidence in school
  • Flexible filling in and helping students with exams at short notice
  • Empathetic understand the priorities of students and providing training support to achieve outcomes

Who you may be:

  • Retired teacher
  • Teacher looking to return to workforce on casual basis with great flexibility
  • Recent HSC Graduate looking to supplement study with work
  • Available after school hours from 4 pm or Saturdays and Sunday
