As a Senior Advisor, you will be an integral part of the Workplace Relations and Global Mobility team. Reporting to Lisa Forstner, Senior Manager, Workplace Relations and Global Mobility, you will provide expert advice on complex workplace matters, including complaints, interpreting our University's Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and supporting the University's Enterprise Bargaining team.

Your expertise will extend to global mobility matters, supporting a diverse range of managers and leaders including Directors, Heads of School and Executive Managers. You will play a crucial role in managing complex cases and ensuring quality solutions in industrial relations matters.

Plus, you will collaborate with Health and Safety and the Integrity Standards Unit (ISU) in dealing with psychosocial concerns.

To be successful in this role:

We are in search of an individual who can hit the ground running and who demonstrates an understanding of the Australian industrial relations framework and the National Employment Standards, coupled with extensive experience in interpreting and applying provisions governing employment conditions, HR policies, and procedures.

You should possess strong negotiation skills to facilitate the resolution of workplace issues and exceptional interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with various stakeholders. You should also demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, as well as derive insights from workforce data to prepare insightful reports.

You will be required to have relevant completion of appropriate legal qualifications, be admitted to practise in Western Australia and hold an unrestricted practising certificate; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
