We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR/ER professional to join our client's People Advisory team.

Reporting to the Manager – People Advisory, the successful candidate will support their leaders to provide a great place to work for our employees, and a great service to our customers.

As a Senior Advisor they will assist leaders to minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes.


Some of the day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing advice, support and coaching to leaders on matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, behaviour and team culture.
  • Undertaking workplace investigations of varying levels of complexity
  • Coaching leaders to improve their people management capability
  • Providing advice on the interpretation of our enterprise agreement and employment contracts
  • Participating in the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of employee relations initiatives, processes, policies, and procedures and ways of working.
  • You may also have the opportunity to be involved in claims and disputes before the Fair Work Commission/Equal Opportunity Commission.
Key skills and experience

  • Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
  • Considerable HR generalist, employee relations and/or case management experience, ideally in a medium to large multidisciplined organisation.
Case management experience essential.

  • Experience working with a field based blue collar workforce would be beneficial but is not essential.
