Pricing and Tenders Manager
to join our Abbott Nutrition** business.


Based in
Macquarie Park, this role will own the tender process lifecycle and the management of pricing for Abbott Nutrition contracts.


Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):

  • Managing the end-to-end tender process lifecycle; managing the post tender ensuring all stakeholders are aware and able to execute effectively
  • Recommending and negotiating with external tender and contract managers regarding pricing, reimbursement and listing of Abbott Nutrition products
  • Responding to government, PHARMAC, Aged Care and Private hospital proposals
  • Identifying prospective tenders from subscription sources and market intelligence
  • Ownership of GS1 and National catalogue requirements and implementation/ongoing management
  • Responsible for pricing analytics and sign off process for tenders and contracts, including provision of relevant changes being communicated to customers and field teams
  • Maintaining pricing records and databases
  • Overseeing the rebate process
  • Analysing opportunities for expired and new pricing agreements for sign off
  • Actively build and cultivate relationships with key tender issuers

Who we're looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in business or finance
  • At least 5 years of tender related experience with proven commercial experience in Healthcare tenders
  • Tender management experience and understanding of the tender process lifecycle
  • Demonstrable understanding of the tenders and contracts (preferably with Hospital products) process is highly desirable
  • Exposure to managing tender and contracts within public hospitals is advantageous
  • Ability to develop strong, authentic relationships with critical internal and external senior operators
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with strong ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Strong analytical and business acumen skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities concurrently, meeting critical deadlines
