Your day-to-day includes:
Develop and maintain professional relationships with the site team and foster the professional image of the organizationSurvey, evaluate, investigate and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning safety, health and environmental mattersUndertake detailed incident investigations in line with project requirements including witness statements, re-enactments, 5-Why/Taproot as appropriate, and compilation of incident reportsAdvising on a range of specialist areas, e.g., safety regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
About youDiploma Qualifications in OH&S, HSEQ, Risk Management or related area is essential (Degree desirable – minimum requirement Cert IV OHS)Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the groupMinimum of 2 years' experience working in a contracting environment ideally on an oil and gas site (coatings and insulation project exposure highly advantageous)Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is desirable.
