ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a unique person with strong business acumen for this newly revised position. This pivotal role will involve leading and managing the clinical operations within Ngala's Clinical Services portfolio, including our Private Hospital and various community-based programs. The successful candidate will ensure that operational practices meet financial, clinical, and operational outcomes while enhancing Ngala's growth and development.

DUTIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the Clinical Services portfolio, enabling efficient and effective service delivery, including operational practices within Ngala's Private Hospital as well as other community-based programs, to ensure financial, clinical, and operational outcomes are met.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary decision making for the development and implementation of objectives to provide a continuous high quality customer service, operating in accordance with Ngala's strategic direction.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the portfolio budget, in consultation with the Head of Operations (HoO) and Ngala's Finance team, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
  • Liaise with relevant external organisations on funding requirements, reviews, and reporting.
  • Analyse performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Oversee service and practice delivery to ensure they align with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and other recognised health standards for the portfolio.
  • Drive the business planning and ongoing development of the Clinical Services portfolio, in line with Ngala's Strategic Plan.

ABOUT YOU

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management and/or Clinical Service.
  • Significant experience in senior leadership roles within Business and Clinical Services, preferably in child and family health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence, proposals and reports.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills to identify and resolve challenges and make appropriate decisions.
  • Financial literacy and experience managing multiple budgets.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, and a commitment to continual improvement and quality practice.

Postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health or qualifications and/or experience in Perinatal Infant Mental Health will be highly regarded.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work across other Ngala sites, as required
  • Possession of a current National Police Clearance
  • Possession of a Working with Children Check
  • Possession of a current WA driver's licence
