**About the company;**
**About the role;**
The service manager role is to support the service to drive and deliver the company's strategic objectives of quality early childhood education and care while ensuring the overall wellbeing of staff and financial stability and viability of the service is met. Your key duties will include but not limited to:
- Understand your business, across our Children's needs, families, compliance, operations, and most importantly, your People.
- Prioritise and take accountability for your service environment; aesthetically, educationally, and culturally.
- Lead and encourage creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure the ongoing enhancement and accessibility of services.
- Drive your service to always be aiming for Exceeding within the National Quality Framework.
- Take accountability for the success of your service; how your service is run, how it performs, and where you want your service to be in the long term.
**Skills & experience;**
- Minimum of Diploma level Early Childhood qualification
- COVID 19 Vaccination Cert or proof of vaccination
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current approved First Aid Certificate / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Sound understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 yrs
- Strong Knowledge & exp of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),
- Strong Knowledge & exp of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Effective leadership skills
**Desirable;**
- Previous management experience
- Experience working collaboratively with early childhood professionals from other disciplines e.g. health and welfare
As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.
It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.
You will be required to regularly provide the necessary;
- Working with Children Check
- Police Clearances
- Reference Checks from a previous manager.
