About You
- You have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You have demonstrated high level knowledge of the principles of endoflife care, clinical ethics, governance, risk management, and patient safety.
- You have demonstrated highly effective interpersonal skills, and high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles.
Where you'll be working
The Voluntary Assisted Dying Clinical Program Coordinator is based at Gosford Hospital and takes a senior leadership role in the operation and management of Voluntary Assisted Dying in CCLHD.
This includes ensuring compliance with all NSW Health Regulatory and service requirements and high levels of support to clinicians and the public.
The VAD Program Coordinator will manage collaborative relationships with clinicians and healthcare workers in diverse settings across the Central Coast region including within the hospital setting, the community sector and the Primary Health Network.
The responsibilities are broad and include management of clinical and operational processes, internal and external stakeholder engagement, program evaluation, contribution to governance frameworks and commitment to service development.
